オタゴ ＭＢＡ （オタゴ スクール オブ ビジネス）

 Otago MBA is the oldest MBA in NZ, which is ranked in the top 100 MBA programs in the world by The Financial Times in 2001.  There are two types of program.  Diploma in Business Administration (DBA) is completed in 1 to 3 year study.  On the other hand, Full-time MBA is completed in the 16 calendar months (12 months Class & 4 months Project).  Class size is limited to 25 and approximately 40% is international students.  For international students, the following is the selection criteria for the programs.

Otago MBA
  • IELTS 7.0 or 
  • TOEFL 600 or TOEFL (Computer-based) 250 and
  • GMAT 550+
  • Good Bachelors degree
  • 3 years managerial work experience
  • CV
  • 5 one page essays
  • 2 references

For the DBA, students undertake 8 papers plus 1 Project & Research Essay from the papers listed below.  For the MBA on the other hand students undertake all Papers below (21 Papers plus 1 Business Project) in 5 Modules.

Tuition Fees for International Students for 2024 (in NZD)

Tuition fees for DBA and MBA are as follows.  The course fees cover tuition fee, textbooks and materials.

Diploma in Business Administration (DBA) NZD9,600 including 15% GST (NZD1,200 + GST per paper) 8 Papers plus 1 Research
Otago MBA NZD36,000 including 15% GST  All papers (21 Papers plus 1 Business Project)
