 Unitec Diploma & Bachelors Degree Programs

 Unitec Institute of Technology is the largest Polytechnic in NZ.  Unitec Bachelors Degrees can be completed in the 3 years full-time study.  Diplomas and Certificates can be completed in 1 or 2 years full-time study.  For international students, the following is the entry requirements for the programs.

    acquired within the past 2 years 
  • Good senior high school certificate or
  • Work experience (for Graduate status)


National Certificate in Boat Building

To complete NCerBB, students must undertake the following papers in 1 year.

Tuition Fees for International Students in 2024 (in NZD)

Tuition fees for the following programs at Unitec are as follows.  The fees do not cover textbooks and materials.  15% GST is included in the fees.

BConst (CM) NZD15,000 per year 3 years
DipEng (Civil) NZD16,000 per year 2.5 years
